2021 Simulcast with Bethlehem

Join online with congregations in Philadelphia and Bethlehem for this 15th annual Simulcast Christmas Service. Hear familiar carols and readings in Arabic and English on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST on YouTube. (You can watch last year's event on YouTube here.)

As part of its covenant with the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, the diocese will livestream a Christmas Lessons and Carols service simultaneously from The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral and Bethlehem.  The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral will host a limited live audience as well. Details on registration for the in-person portion are forthcoming.

A joint Episcopal and Lutheran service - officiated by all five Episcopal and Lutheran bishops in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Jerusalem - this simulcast service connects us to our sisters and brothers in the Holy Land, hearing familiar carols and readings in both Arabic and English, and with a special Christmas homily from the Archbishop of Jerusalem, the Most. Rev. Suheil Dawani.

The service will be broadcast from Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral (10 a.m. EST)
