Be a Light in the Darkness! Register today to participate in a free, two-day community art project for mental health at St. Christopher's Church on August 31st and September 1st from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Each participant will create a beautiful life-size lantern figure built to honor a loved one who has struggled with mental health issues. Additional workshops are taking place throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. For more information, visit icphila.org/lights-in-the-darkness.
There is also a workshop at St. Andrew’s in Yardley on September 3rd & 4th from 11.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
All the figures will be placed at Philadelphia's City Hall on the evening of September 22nd in a public exhibit, an interfaith service, and keynote speakers. We hope this breathtaking display will redefine our community’s relationship with mental health and suicide and bring peace to those impacted.
