The world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music has partnered with All Hallows Episcopal Church Wyncote to feature Curtis students in a series of concerts during 2022-2023. Four organ concerts will be played on the historic Skinner Organ beginning on October 1 at 7:00pm. Concerts are free but you need to reserve your spot.
The 10/1 concert will be performed by Emily Dawn Amos, who has performed in the U.S. and internationally. The program includes works by two African American composers, Florence Price and William Grant Still, in addition to the work of Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, Cesar Franck and Rachel Laurin.
A Conversation After the Concert will be led by Kathleen Krull, Branch Director, Settlement Music School, Willow Grove. The concert is free; donations will be accepted.
