Both the EMC and Servant Year programs serve our diocesan youth, young adults and adults as well as the broader church by offering justice immersion opportunities including week long Summer Work Camps, Service and Formation Retreats, yearlong community based living in service to people in need, and linking churches with community development efforts. The focuses of these justice programs provide advocacy opportunities in areas such as affordable education and housing, racism, gun violence and other transformative ministries that seek to mend and heal the brokenness in our world and build the Kingdom of God while proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
