St. John’s Church, Norristown  is searching for our Beautiful Lectern.  The base that it sits on was specifically designed and built for its shape, size and height. We have a temporary lectern,  that we would be more than happy to make available. If you know of its location within the Diocese,  please contact us asap. Email to Cheryl Werkiser, Administrator: office@stjohnsnorristown.org.

Attention, Good Samaritans! St. Mark’s, Frankford needs your help in filling these “Blessings Bags” for distribution to those in need. Please help us make these empty bags overflow with kindness, as well as: bottled water, soap, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, individually wrapped ‘wet ones‘, individual snacks, combs, pocket packs of tissues, tampons, sanitary napkins and hand sanitizer. When a person is faced with housing problems, with troubles and issues that are overwhelming and with nowhere to go…nowhere to turn…they feel lost, misplaced and forgotten. By providing this little bit of comfort, we can make someone feel better. With one little bag, we can offer a glimmer of hope…and joy…and peace. Donations may be dropped off at St. Mark’s, Frankford (4442 Frankford Ave., 19124), Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pickups can be arranged. Call Blair Jordan 267-368-0043/Luz Miranda 267-356-3992 or St. Mark’s: 215-535-0635.
