Our featured presentation is "Brooklyn," based on Colm Toibin's novel of the same name. The story is set in 1950's Ireland, where protagonist Ellis Lacey decides to leave her mother and sister Rose for a new life in Brooklyn, New York. Life eventually becomes complicated and Ellis " must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within." We will follow with a lively discussion. Free organic refreshments. All free will donations benefit St. Luke's.
