A Two-Day Event on Zoom to Help Episcopal Youth Connect Their Faith with Racial Healing in Our City
Using the outstanding curriculum Dismantling Racism: A Youth Curriculum, this two-day event will help middle and high school youth have conversations about race and build relationships to address systemic racism in their context. The goal is to help youth connect their faith with racial healing in our communities.
The event is free for all attendees. This is an online event; you will receive a Zoom link on registration.
Episcopal Youth (aged 13+) may register for this training. Priority will be given to youth from the Diocese of Pennsylvania.
Full attendance is required at BOTH Saturday sessions, 10 am – 4 pm, February 20th and March 6th, 2021. There is also am orientation meeting for parents/caregivers and youth on Thursday, February 11, 7:00 - 8:15pm via Zoom.
Dismantling Racism: A Youth Curriculum was developed by the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta and the Absalom Jones Center.
