Dear Diocesan Administrators and Canons,
I am writing to remind you of the March 1 canonical deadline for the 2016 Parochial Report. In this General Convention year, it is helpful to have the majority of congregations filed with us as close to this canonical deadline as possible. At your convenience, please log into http://pr.dfms.org/ with your Diocesan UEID and PIN to review the filing progress of the parishes and missions in your diocese. (Click on “Filing Status” from the top menu once logged into the site.) If you’ve received any paper reports that have not yet been entered into the system, please try to do so before this date.
After March 1, we will begin reaching out to individual congregations who have not yet submitted, or have only submitted partially completed reports. Corrections and additions to data will still be allowed through August 14th, as in previous years. If you have any questions regarding the filing process, the Parochial Report website, or if you need your Diocesan log-in, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We appreciate all the work you do in maintaining one of the highest compliance rates in any denomination.

All congregations in the Episcopal Church are canonically required to complete and submit the Parochial Report annually. Data derived from the Parochial Report is used by the Episcopal Church Research Office, dioceses, congregations, and the House of Deputies Committee on the State of the Church to track attendance, trends, membership and other critical information for the purpose of planning mission strategy. We at Church House would like to use the data to provide information about a congregation’s finances and membership over a given time period and what the trends may mean for the future.
Forms for the Episcopal Church Parochial Report are available here.
Also available on the web are general instructions for completing the Parochial Report forms as well as line-by-line details listed in the workbooks.
All forms are available in English, Spanish and French.
In December, the Office of General Convention will issue a filing packet to all congregations and dioceses with filing commencing on January 4, 2012.
To file online, visit http://pr.dfms.org/ and enter the userid and PIN that was issued for your congregation. In case you forgot your PIN or you need any assistance completing the form, please contact Doug Horner at (215) 627-6434 x145 or email@example.com.
Please note that parochial reports should be submitted on or before March 1 of each year.
