Process for Applying for Diocesan Financial Assistance
Is there a program/ministry within your congregation that could use financial support from the diocese? Have you always wanted to engage in a new ministry or maintain an old one, but just did not have the finances to do so? This is to announce the process for applying for financial assistance from the diocese.
As part of the annual budget for the diocese, convention allocates funds for the programs/ministries of the diocese on the congregational level. If you would like to have your program/ministry considered for funding, please contact Rob Rogers at .
The following items are needed as part of your application packet:
1. 2010 Parochial Report on file at Church House
2. 2009 Audit on file at Church House
3. 2010 and 2011 Budget (include the actual year to date numbers)
4. Proposed 2012 Budget
5. Description of program/ministry to be funded
6. If you received funding in 2011 from the Program Budget or other outside sources, please provide a description of the source and the amount and how that money was used.
Note that money for programs under the 2012 program budget will be limited. However, the Program Budget Committee is attempting to be transparent in its endeavor to include as many congregations as possible in the process of applying for aid as needed. Also, please recognize that this is the same process used for the last two years.

The deadline to submit the application is April 22, 2011.
