Certificates for Youth Representatives

SUBJECT: CERTIFICATES FOR YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES
DATE: MONDAY JUNE 18, 2007
In accordance with the Diocesan Convention Standing Orders IV-6, “each parish shall have the right to approve two youth representatives who shall have the right to sit with the deputies from their parish and who shall have the privilege of speaking but not voting on matters coming before Convention”.

In the past, the Bishop has requested that the youth representatives be allowed to show how they would vote on various matters coming before Convention.
Please submit the names of two youth, ages of 13-18 (who have not yet attended college), from your congregation to be Youth Representatives for our Diocesan Convention which will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Please keep a copy of this form for your records.
Remember, all of the attached certificates should be attested to by the warden or two other vestry persons and in the case of a youth under 18, a custodial parent’s signature is required.
