Certificates for Lay Deputies

SUBJECT: CERTIFICATES FOR LAY DEPUTIES
DATE: MONDAY, JUNE 18TH, 2007
Enclosed are the certificates on which you record the names and addresses of those lay persons that have been elected to represent your congregation at the Diocesan Convention on Saturday, November 3, 2007.

Convention will be held at the Philadelphia Cathedral, 38th and Chestnut Streets.
All of the attached certificates should be attested to by a warden or two other vestry persons. Please document on the certificate whether your deputy/alternate is a new delegate. Also, please print clearly on the forms to help reduce mailing and registration confusion.
Please return one copy of the certificate by July 31, 2007. We will email the first of the convention materials directly to your deputies. Please provide a valid email address. If we do not have the names of your deputies and their correct contact information, they will not receive convention materials.
The other copy of the certificate should be retained on file by your congregation and submitted by one of your lay deputies when he or she registers at the Diocesan Convention on the morning of November 3, 2007.
