Available for download is a copy of the requirements and procedures for obtaining the consent of the Bishop and Standing Committee in connection with the lease, sale, mortgage or other encumbrance of Church property. Also attached are sample forms. These requirements and procedures were approved by the Standing Committee at its Tuesday, June, 15, 2010 meeting. They provide information as to the canonical requirements for consent, and their use will insure that all applications to the Bishop and Standing Committee will be uniform and will have all of the required back-up. It should speed the review process.
