Parish Secretary at the Church of the Holy Trinity
Active, growing Center City church seeks a Secretary to provide clerical and administrative support for the daily operations of the parish. Act as front desk receptionist and manage interactions with parish members, vendors and other visitors.
Answer telephones and respond and/or refer calls as appropriate. Develop and maintain parish databases, files and mail. Order and maintain office supplies and monitor related budgets. Layout, edit and publish monthly parish newsletter and weekly service bulletins.
Prepare correspondence and maintain calendars for church events, various parish committees and vestry members. Follow-up to inquiries, plan ahead, meet deadlines, and represent the parish in a welcoming, responsive manner. Provide Rector with administrative support as needed, and fulfill other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Full Time
Position Schedule: 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
Qualifications: Excellent communication, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be detail-oriented, be productive under pressure and possess the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, take initiative and assume responsibility for support functions; ability to work in small office environment with a team approach. Familiarity with Episcopal church procedures and principles would be beneficial.
Proficiency with MS Office suite required: Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher.
