Stress reduction workshop for clergy
Stress is a very real part of our lives. In particular, parish clergy face a never-ending stream of appointments, deadlines, meetings, and worship services. It is all too easy for us to become emotionally drained or to feel that no matter how hard we work, we will never be satisfied that we have done enough. In this free workshop for clergy, you will learn an approach for reducing stress in our lives known as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
Over eight weeks, you will be taught to practice mindfulness meditation, mindful movement/gentle stretching, and yoga as ways to become more aware, more present, and more relaxed as you face the everyday demands of life.
Classes will be offered in January in two convenient locations throughout the Diocese.
