The Leadership Institute and the Antiracism Commission (ARC) of DIOPA are jointly sponsoring an Antiracism Training Workshop on June 19-22, 2008. This workshop, which will be held at the Brossman Center of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, will continue our diocesan dialogue about the presence and power of institutional racism and suggests tools and strategies we might use to lessen its impact.
Over 100 people in our diocese attended this workshop, presented by Crossroads Ministry, in 2006 and 2007 and found it informative, enlightening and hopeful. Clergy and lay people are invited to participate but must commit to attending the entire training.
Limited to 40 participants. All meals will be provided and preregistration is a requirement.
