Godly Play® is a way of religious education for children that teaches them the art of using the language of the Christian tradition to encounter God and find direction for their lives. It is not a new curriculum – it is deeply rooted in Christian theology and storytelling – but it approaches children’s learning styles in a way that is fresh and new to the church. The foundation of Godly Play® is the belief that children don’t want to know about God, they want to know God. Children need to be able to get inside the stories of our Christian faith and use all of their sense to make them real and meaningful enough to cherish and hold onto throughout their lives. Through Godly Play® children are encouraged to use their gifts of imagination and creativity to explore the stories of the Bible and make them their own.

Training sessions led by a Godly Play Teacher Trainer accredited by the Godly Play Foundation.
