Zarouhie Abdalian "Aliasings"

The Philadelphia Cathedral presents Zarouhie Abdalian’s exhibition “Aliasings” with a reception Wednesday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Abdalian’s artwork explores aerial photographs of Philadelphia and of her hometown, New Orleans, through a variety of media, investigating the relationship between distance and fidelity, scale and noise.

“Aliasings” is a multi-media sculptural installation of work, which includes Abdalian’s permanent installation piece created for the Cathedral. Abdalian exhibits her work internationally and is the Philadelphia Cathedrals 2007-2008 Artist-in-Residence.

“Aliasings” will be on view at the Philadelphia Cathedral from April 30, 2008 – May 30, 2008.

Admission is free.
