Apostolic Succession
Three generations of cathedral deans were present in the Cathedral on Ascension Day, May 1, when the Cathedral gave thanks to God on the sixth anniversary of the rededication of the cathedral’s renovated interior. Fr Jack Shepherd, Interim Dean 1997-99, was the preacher at the evening Eucharist with Rites of Christian Initiation.

The Cathedral Singers, under the direction of Riyehee Hong, join the Tononi String Quartet, the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale and Karen Christianson in festival concert of organ and choral music entitled “Lift Up Your Voices”. The program begins with Ms. Hong and the Tononi String Quartet performing Handel’s Organ Concerto in F Major, Op. 4. No 4. followed by the Cathedral Singers and Quartet in a performance of Haydn’s Little Organ Mass in B Flat Major.
