Mission Statement

Our mission is to support youth as they cultivate a closer relationship with Christ by offering opportunities to explore their faith through worship, education, expanded Christian relationships and life-transforming experiences.

How the Youth Ministry Office Serves the Diocese of Pennsylvania

The Youth Ministry Office promotes youth ministry by coordinating diocesan-wide youth events with the Diocesan Youth Council, and assisting parishes in developing their ministry with youth.

The Youth Ministry Office seeks to connect youth with the broader Episcopal Communion through diocesan, provincial, and national church involvement.

The Youth Ministry Office supports the adult youth ministers in the diocese by connecting them to a network of colleagues in their region, providing resources and opportunities to receive training in youth ministry skills.

The Youth Ministry Office encourages parents in their role as the primary cultivators of spiritual and personal development by offering opportunities of education, discussion and support.
