Grace Epiphany Church, Mt. Airy is seeking a Porter: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The porter will be responsible for opening/
closing the facility doors; greeting guests; and at the end of the time, arming the alarm
system. We are located in Mt. Airy; and this could be an ideal opportunity for someone in the
Germantown, Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill neighborhoods or the vicinity of Glenside, Wyndmoor

Brief Description of Duties (full Job Description available)

The Property Manager reports directly to the Rectors (priests) and has general oversight of the management, upkeep, and safety of all property of Church of the Holy Trinity. The Property Manager will work 20-25 hours regularly each week, with occasional extra hours for emergencies or other events.

  • Oversee the maintenance, cleaning, safety, upkeep and repairs for the Property.
    • Property includes buildings and grounds of: the church, the parish house (offices and classrooms), and the off-campus, nearby Rectory (priests’ house).
  • Oversight and Supervision of the Sexton.
    • The Sexton is responsible for cleaning the facilities and setting up on Sunday morning.
  • Liaison to and Coordinator with the Property Committee – the subcommittee of the Vestry (board of directors).
    • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and completion of Vestry property projects.
  • Work cooperatively with church staff and volunteers, building inspectors, service providers, contractors, and renters.
  • Organize and administer service work, repair work, and safety protocols.
  • Must be available outside of regular business hours for building emergencies.
  • Experience with building systems and ability to perform minor repairs are a plus.

Sexton (Custodian, Janitor, Handyman) position for Good Shepherd, Rosemont,
an Episcopal Church located in Bryn Mawr, PA. To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position will start
at 16 hours per week that is compensated through use of a lovely 2 bedroom, duplex
apartment on Church grounds. Duties include:

Building Maintenance: Church, Sacistry, Rectory, Parish House & Offices.

Small handyman repairs: plumbing, electrical, painting, sanding, battery/bulb/filter replacement.
Monitor heating/cooling units/ thermostats making sure they remain functional.

Keep all church, rectory and office entrances and yard clear of debris/litter. Keep leaves, sand, and
dirt away from entrances. Maintain grounds, mow grass/ weed, prune, keep free of branches, leaves and litter.

 Cleaning: Church, Sacistry, Rectory & Offices

Rotate Vacuuming/Sweeping/Dusting/Mopping Cleaning. (Doing each at least once a week or more if needed)

Make sure all bathroom areas are clean and have adequate supplies as needed.

Make sure all trash is emptied and recycled in appropriate manner.

The Church of Saint Asaph, Bala Cynwyd is seeking a Part-Time Children’s Formation
Person
to work with a creative staff. The program is small and flexible with several committed families.
