We are pleased to announce that the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania will hold its diocesan convention on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia (www.paconvention.com). More than 700 clergy and lay leaders will gather for this event beginning 7:30am, and they will have the opportunity to visit your exhibit throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to educate the diocese about your parish, deanery or church organization or to show off your wares.
If you would like to reserve a display table, please complete the enclosed Exhibit Request Form and return it, with your payment, to the diocese as soon as possible or by October 4, 2010 at the latest. You may download additional forms from the Convention section of the Diocesan web site at www.diopa.org. Tables will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. All tables are 8’ long and skirted.
Exhibits will be in two areas:
- The Concourse: Where attendees will register and gather for Continental Breakfast. Electric outlets are accessible to some of the tables (one minimal-wattage flat cable only, please). The cost for each in the prime Concourse area is $100.00.
- Exhibit room: Electric outlets are accessible for tables along the wall (one minimal-wattage flat cable only, please). The cost for a table with an outlet is $40.00; the cost for each table without electricity is $30.00.
If you are requesting more than one table, plan to maintain space between tables.
Please keep in mind the following:
- Nothing may be affixed to walls or the ceiling, and electric cords may not be taped down.
- Set-up may begin after 6:30am the day of the convention.
- Exhibitors conducting sales are responsible for obtaining appropriate business license(s) and for paying all applicable state and local taxes.
- Elliott-Lewis is the labor supplier authorized to provide event labor at the Convention Center.
- Exhibitors are permitted to hand carry items with hand carts or other type of non-motorized apparatus.
- Extension cords must be minimal-wattage, flat cables only
Exhibitors are scheduled to receive email confirmation Friday, October 15; organizations that do not provide an email address will receive a hard copy in the mail after that date.
We look forward to seeing you at Convention this year!
