At its meeting on September 17, the Diocesan Council addressed the issue of requesting a registration fee to cover the costs of lunch at the 2009 Diocesan Convention, recognizing that this departure from past practices could create concerns for some in the Diocese. In response, the Council voted to make this year’s Convention registration fee voluntary and has graciously offered to meet, through alternate sources, the costs for the lunch which are not covered by the voluntary fee.
If you can and so choose to contribute to the effort associated with our common meal at Convention, we appreciate your including the $20-per-registrant payment at the time of registration or upon sign-in the morning of Convention.
