Subject: Registration for Diocesan Convention

The 2009 Diocesan Convention will be held Saturday, November 14, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia.
Every attendee—lay and clergy—is encouraged to pre-register for convention this year. This includes active and retired resident and licensed clergy, as well as laypersons who are not attending as deputies. We would appreciate your registering by October 15th for good stewardship of resources and accurate planning for space and meals.
Certification materials for delegates, alternates and youth representatives who were elected to represent their congregations at the Diocesan Convention and registrations for clergy and lay leaders can be found on the Registration page. Please register online if possible, read all materials carefully, and make every effort to submit your materials by October 15th. Also, please note that there is a $20 registration fee, which can be paid the day of Convention or mailed ahead of time to:

Paper copies of registration forms should also be mailed to the above address, and checks should be made payable to Diocese of Pennsylvania with the memo “Convention registration”.
Because all information about Convention will be communicated online and only limited information will be sent through the mail, we strongly encourage the inclusion of e-mail addresses when registering. As Convention information becomes available, it will be posted here on the diocesan website; we invite you to visit often.
