City of Philadelphia Abandons Tax-Exempt Audit Response

.
The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Property Assessment (OPA) has changed course with its annual audit of real estate tax-exempt properties.

Nonprofit organizations that own real estate tax-exempt properties in Philadelphia are no longer required to annually re-certify their exempt status.

The OPA’s previously issued audit forms do not need to be returned and no future forms will be issued.
