The Church Foundation is an independent organization serving the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide the Offices of the Diocese, parishes and other related institutions within the opportunity to enhance the power of their assets through the investment in the Consolidated Fund (CF), a high quality and cost-effective diversified investment vehicle overseen by The Church Foundation.

In 2017, The Church Foundation engaged SunTrust Bank, as custodian and fund accountant. Ms. Snead-Ferguson and her team worked closely with The Church Foundation through the conversation and implementation process. Through her guidance and oversight, the transition to SunTrust Bank went smoothly and Christy continues to be The Church Foundation’s primary contact.

 

Mike Kerr, CEO
The Trustees of the Fund, Diocese of Virginia

Mike is the CEO of the Trustees of the Funds, the endowment and investment company related to the Diocese of Virginia, but which provides investment management services to any Episcopal entity in the three dioceses within the Commonwealth of Virginia.  He started this role in early 2014.  Prior to this, he had been the Treasurer/CFO of the Diocese of Virginia for over 20 years.  Mike is Chair of the Investment Committee of the Episcopal Church, and previously served on the board of Church Insurance Company.  He has served as faculty for CREDO conferences since 2001. He is an officer of the Diocesan Missionary Society, the lending organization of the Diocese of Virginia and also serves on several community non-profit boards.  Mike and his family attend St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Goochland, VA. Mike received a BA from the University of the South, an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond and is completing a certified financial planner designation through Boston University. He enjoys movies, reading, cooking and playing both soccer and golf.
