Call to Convention for Election of Bishop of the Diocese of Pennsylvania

A Special Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania will be held at the Cathedral Church of the Saviour, 38th and Chestnut Streets, Philadelphia, on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

This Special Convention is being called in accordance with Article IX of the Constitution of the Diocese and the sole purpose of the Convention is to elect a Bishop Diocesan.

All clergy persons canonically resident and in good standing and all lay delegates (up to three per parish) are eligible to attend the 2015 Annual Convention (or their successors as selected by their parishes) are qualified to register and vote.

The convention will come to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Cathedral with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist, followed by organization of the Convention and balloting. Balloting will continue until a Bishop Diocesan is chosen.
