Alan Lindsay


Alan Attended the United States Naval Academy and holds Associate and Bachelor Degrees of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a 1978 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Alan attended the Haden Institute for Spiritual Direction. Prior to his present position, Alan was active in the banking and corporate finance industries. He was involved in various aspects of the international banking field with Girard Bank, later to become Mellon Bank. Alan was Treasurer of Advanta Leasing Corp. and later worked in the Corporate Finance area of Advanta Corp. He joined GMAC Mortgage as their treasurer and served in a number of corporate finance roles until being named President of National Motors Bank, a thrift owned by GM.

Alan Lindsay currently serves as the Executive Director of The Church Foundation, which is an organization that holds the investment assets and title to the property of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania and many of its parishes. He has been with The Church Foundation since November 2010. Additionally, Alan is the Diocesan Coordinator for Education for Ministry (EfM).
